From left to right - before to after, it's apparent that this kitchen received a complete
makeover. The cabinets are all new, as well as the appliances. In addition, the soffits were removed or pushed back to open
up the room and in one area glass upper cabinets were added to create a distinctive display area. The cook-top hood was also
replaced, allowing for yet another custom aspect to distinguish this kitchen. Granite replaced all the kitchen counter-tops
and all the floor tile was updated to match the new look. One place where additional thought and money was spent was the backsplash.
All the outlets were moved to below the cabinets to avoid detracting from accent tiles that provided the finishing touch to
this beautiful kitchen.

With kitchens being the meeting places in many people's homes, an open design is ideal. In the
remodel below we removed a wall to create a wonderful seating area that was given a touch of warmth with a custom wood
countertop. It also allows for a smooth flow into the family room and provides for a lovely view of a beautiful fireplace.
Also, the wall colors were lightened and the white
wood trim was added to make the room feel bigger. The addition of some classic crown molding and a custom wood arch in
the entrance to the breakfast nook area gave the area a touch of elegance.
