In this remodel, the first floor master suite was totally
gutted and remodeled as well as the kitchen. A mudroom and hearthroom were added on to the side of the home and the deck was
re-engineered into a 3-season porch. Due to the addition of the mudroom and hearthroom, the bedroom above was expanded, but
this allowed for some additional cabinets and storage to be added to make the most of the remodel.
The new mudroom added off the side of the garage includes 5 lockers with liftable seat
storage, a washer and dryer with an adjacent slop sink, a nice desk area, and a 5 ft. wide coat closet. In addition, cabinets
line one whole wall and give plenty of storage. The mudroom flows into the kitchen through a pocket door so as to utilize
as much space as possible.

The focal point in the hearthroom is a beautiful limestone fireplace. The richly colored mantle was stained
to match the new hardwood floors. Finally, the large windows give a great view of the wooded lot and add to the warm feeling
of the space.
The master suite area was totally remodeled from the ground up. A new, much larger walk-in closet was
added adjacent to the bathroom area. Dual vanities provide his and her areas just outside the closet. A water closet was added
for the toilet. The floor to ceiling tile in the shower is display through the custom clear glass shower door. The master
bedroom was bumped out to accommodated the new closet area and received all new windows.
On the rear of the house, the deck area that was not absorbed by the new mudroom and hearthroom areas
was changed into a 3-season porch. The exterior of the home was finished with a ceder siding and painted to transition
seamlessly from old to new.
