Featured Kitchen Remodel (Under Contruction - check back for updates)

A primary objective in this kitchen remodel was to open up the space as much as possible. This was done by removing as many of the soffits as possible as well as a wall to open up the kitchen area into the family room.

The cabinets were in good shape, but in need of updating, so they were painted and some of the doors were replaced. Several places in the upper-cabinets, glass doors gave excellent places to showcase fine china. The all new furniture style island cabinets were set apart by beautiful new black granite countertops. New granite countertops also replaced the old laminate tops on the perimeter cabinets.

The electric cooktop was changed to gas, and a rear telescoping downdraft vent was added. In order to camouflage the new refrigerator and dishwasher, matching cabinet panels were added to the fronts. The double oven and microwave were also replaced. A unique copper sink and instant hot water tap were two additions the help to set this kitchen apart.

The final touches were in the tile. All new modular slate tile flooring replaced the old tile. The backsplash is a natural tumbled durango marble inset with copper accents that match the new copper sink.
