A primary objective in this kitchen remodel was to open up the space as much
as possible. This was done by removing as many of the soffits as possible as well as a wall to open up the kitchen area into
the family room.
The cabinets were in good shape, but in need of updating, so they were painted
and some of the doors were replaced. Several places in the upper-cabinets, glass doors gave excellent places to showcase
fine china. The all new furniture style island cabinets were set apart by beautiful new black granite countertops. New
granite countertops also replaced the old laminate tops on the perimeter cabinets.
